I have joined each of the live Community Practice Workshops expecting them to be an integration of the coaching concepts that have been presented by the master coaches. Instead, they all seem to have the same agenda of mindfulness and general coaching practice – not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course, but my expectations were that we’d have a chance to discuss, ask questions, and possible practice some of the new concepts we’ve been introduced to. Was that not the intent of these workshops?
I agree. Mindfulness is interesting but this is a training in coaching and then I expect it to focus on that, and not use a lot of time for mindfulness.
Coaches Rising: Unsure if this is the right place to inquire. I am a bit confused. I signed up and paid for the Inside Coaching Program. I have found excellent value from it and look forward to the release of more sessions. Having said that I am perplexed by what appears to be an offering of a portion of this program for free. What’s going on? I paid good money and have received good value only to be perplexed and feeling like what I have paid for is now worth less.
I am assuming you are referring to the current offering we made available for interested coaches in our Coaches Rising community, called Threads of Mastery. Is that correct?
In threads of Mastrery we offer 3 short videos with a teaching from the Masterclasses in our membership program Tapestry. The material we use is not from Inside Coaching.
The free videos contain a piece of teaching from Jim Dethmer, David Treleaven and Amanda Blake. These three teachers are part of the faculty of several Coaches Rising programs, like Tapestry and Inside coaching, but also the Power of Embodied Transformation, The Neuroscience of Change and Becoming a Transformative Presence.
I hope knowing this resolves your tension. Please let us know if it doesn’t.
